So is anyone else TOTALLY ready for school to start again?  I mean, I love my kids and all but when they are ALL home ALL wanting my attention at the same time and fighting with each other NONSTOP…well you know what I mean.  Don’t let the title of this post fool you. I’M not bored. In fact, I’ve got about a bazillion things to do before we move.  It’s keeping THEM busy that’s the tricky part!  Here’s an idea that will keep them busy for 5 minutes   SCOTCH TAPE!  Now to find something to fill the remaining 23 hours and 55 minutes after that.

Too cute – We have 11 grandchildren total – but only 5 on a weekly basis so to avoid the boredoms I took an idea from the movie “UP” and we have started doing adventure (scrap) books – at least two pages each time we are together. Being a photographer I have tons of pictures of the kids and I found some very inexpensive scrapbooks at Tuesday Morning & Micheals (discountinued/on sale for $4.99)- At first I was worried that the 4 year old wouldn’t like it but she is crazy about the book as is our 7 yr old grandson. While it does get messy at times, it keeps them busy and they only occassionally fight/argue over who get what picture.
