I am going to be in Denver for a fun-filled weekend though so the Birthday Blog post had to happen today.
How could I not blog about my birthday?  I mean, I am turning THIRTY tomorrow. THIRTY!!!

THIRTY…I’m trying to let that number soak in even though I feel like I am still in high school sometimes.  I’m still slightly immature so I’ll just be in major DE-NIAL in my own brain.

Geez, thirty is the age that I picture my Mom always being.  And now I am my Mom. Weird.

Anyhoo, not only is it MY birthday but it’s also my DAUGHTER’S birthday too. She is turning 8!  EIGHT!  I think HER age makes me feel older that mine (if that makes any sense at all.)

Well, I am what you might call a “Birthday Queen” where I milk that day for all it’s worth (he.he) so when I was pregnant with Miss Sassypants (that’s what we call her sometimes and I guess that would make me Miss Francypants) I told my husband that she better NOT come on my birthday (she was due on Christmas day).  Do you think she cared? OH NO! She’s always had her own agenda and was born on my birthday just to spite me.  But secretly it’s kinda fun.  Now there’s TWO “Birthday Queens” in the house. DOUBLE TROUBLE.
