Everyone has a story. What’s yours?

My story? I grew up on the Navajo Reservation in Arizona, came to college here in Utah, met and married the love of my life and filled our home with 5 of the cutest kids ever. I honestly feel so grateful to have the life I do, I adore my little family! Life threw me a curve ball when I was 17 (lost my arm in a car accident), but now it’s just the way things are. My children have filled any holes that tragedy brought. They are my ikigai. What,you ask, is an ikigai? It’s a Japanese phrase meaning your reason for waking in the morning. I love being a mother.
