Good news and bad news

So, I’ve been dreading posting about this because it makes me sad.  There’s no way to sugar coat it so I’m just going to say it.  WE ARE MOVING TO COLORADO.
My husband had been looking for months for a job here but was having no luck. Finally, he found a fabulous job but it’s in Colorado Springs.  I am very happy for him but selfishly sad for myself.  I’ve got some fabulous friends and clients here and I love my home (with the new studio in it!)  *Sigh* Such is life.  We have family there so it will be nice to be close to them for a change.  I know that God will bless us but I have to whine just a little before I suck it up and “bloom where I am planted.”

What does this mean for my clients?

I have decided that I will still be coming out to Carson City for sessions a few times a year so if you are totally set on me doing your portraits, you can put your name on a waiting list (that I’ve already got people signed up for).  Please don’t email me asking me to do a session before I go.  We are leaving August 8th and I have got to pack like a madwoman before then.  If you know of anyone looking for a charming 4 bedroom home in the best neighborhood eva, have them contact me.  Kay, that’s all I can say before I get all teary-eyed.

Oooh! I know change is hard, but you are going to flourish. I’m sure it will be a fantastic move for your hubby, your family, and your business. Colorado is my dream state, so if you stay there long enough, maybe we’ll end up in the same city!! Needless to say, I’m very jealous. Good luck with all the packing!
