Ever since my daughter was little (like two years old!) she has wanted a puppy. She would beg and beg. So a few years ago I told her that she could have one when she was eight so that she would be old enough to be responsible to take care of it. Well, time flies and suddenly she is eight. So we found an adorable little shitzu puppy that we loved. We told my daughter that we would go pick “Daisy” up the day after Christmas. But we decided to surprise her and give it to her on Christmas morning. We had Daisy, the dog, make her debut by coming up the stairs right when the kids had gathered by the tree to find all their presents and their stockings. Here’s their reaction:

Let me just say that I am not an animal person but when Matt brought her home last night, I fell instantly in love! She is so sweet and adorable! I was joking with my sister today that she might just see a 30×40 canvas of Daisy Sophia France (her full name) in our house next time she comes. I wouldn’t put it past me.
