Be your own hero. Do something that scares you and gets you out of your comfort zone. The way we become confident is by pushing ourselves outside of what we think we are capable of.
Micah has a deep love for Personal Development books, but she says the magic and the confidence comes not just from reading them, but by taking action.
When Chelsea isn’t feeling as fearless she likes to look back at what she’s done. She can see the proof, gain confidence and and know that she can move forward.
Melissa speaks about the power of affirmations. She says What you think about, you bring about.
Suzy feels that confidence is all about being in full alignment and more importantly figuring out what is out of alignment when you’re in a funk and not feeling fearless.
Her trick is to pretend. And do the little things that can quickly elevate your mood. It could be a pump up song, an outfit change, throwing on a fun shade of lipstick. Something to change the energy really quick to help you show up.
She will connect with others and pour into them. Taking the focus off herself and turning it towards her relationships helps put things into perspective and breathe new life into her.
Natalie’s advice is to build a confidence boosting ritual that you can fall back on when you’re not feeling so confident. It could be eliminating negative self talk. It could be taking extra time getting ready, or grabbing your favorite drink. Just something to boost your confidence. She also encourages talking to yourself the way you would to your children or someone you love. Speak to yourself with kindness.
She follows her 3 step process. Awareness, close the door, and move forward with love.
She surrounds herself with positive words and proof. She has saved notes, cards, texts, and pictures. She suggests surrounding yourself with positive things and words. There is enough negativity in the world, so getting all the positivity around you and encouragement that you can is vital.
